At a glance

You can explore this website without an account. We use hosting services to deliver it and email to respond when you contact us. There are no advertising trackers or analytics scripts on the current site.

This overview is a reading aid. The sections below explain the details and how to contact us about your information.

01

Who we are and what this covers

Waterside Labs LLC (“Waterside,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates watersidelabs.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with this public studio website and messages sent to its contact addresses.

This policy covers the website, including its careers information. It does not describe data collected inside a separate app, including GoGenius, or by an independent third-party service. A product or application process that collects additional information will need its own applicable privacy information before that collection begins.

02

Information we receive

Website requests. When you visit, your browser sends technical information needed to request a page, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time. Our hosting provider, Google Firebase Hosting, processes request information to deliver the site, operate its infrastructure, and detect abuse.

Messages you choose to send. If you email us, we receive your email address, any name or contact details you provide, your message, and any attachments. Your email service and our email provider also process delivery information. Please send only what is relevant to your inquiry. Do not send passwords, government identification, financial account details, or medical records through general email.

Careers and accessibility inquiries. We may receive information you choose to include in a question about an opportunity or a request for help. You can describe the assistance you need without disclosing a diagnosis or sending medical records. The current website has no application form, candidate account, or job-alert subscription. Follow any future opening’s specific application instructions and accompanying privacy information.

03

How we use information

We use information to deliver and maintain the website; prevent abuse and investigate technical problems; read and respond to inquiries; provide requested accessibility assistance; and maintain records needed to manage those communications, meet legal obligations, or establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.

Sending a message does not subscribe you to marketing or a talent pool. The current website does not use personal information for automated hiring decisions or advertising profiles.

04

When information is shared

Service providers. Hosting, email, and related infrastructure providers process information needed to perform their services. This website uses Google Firebase Hosting, and our business email uses Google Workspace. People authorized to handle an inquiry may access the information needed to respond.

Legal and business needs. We may disclose relevant information to professional advisers or authorities when reasonably needed to comply with law or valid legal process, protect rights and security, or handle a legal claim. If a business transaction affects information covered by this policy, any transfer must remain subject to applicable law and the relevant privacy obligations.

We do not sell or rent personal information collected through this website, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not provide inquiry details to unrelated projects for their own marketing.

05

Cookies, tracking, and browser signals

The current website does not set first-party cookies or use local storage or session storage. It has no advertising pixels, analytics scripts, embedded social-media widgets, or third-party font requests. Browser caching and the hosting provider’s technical processing are separate from advertising tracking.

We do not track your activity across other websites for advertising or allow advertising networks to do so through this website. The current site behaves the same whether your browser sends a Do Not Track signal or Global Privacy Control: it does not sell or share information for targeted advertising in either case. This does not limit any opt-out right that applies by law.

If we introduce optional tracking or other data-collection features, we will update the relevant information and provide any choices or consent mechanism required before they operate.

06

How long information is kept

Retention depends on the type of information, why it was provided, how long an inquiry remains relevant, and any applicable legal, recordkeeping, or dispute-related requirements. Messages and related records may need to be retained after a conversation ends. Information should not be kept longer than needed for those purposes, and deletion may be subject to legitimate legal obligations and backup processes.

Our providers have their own operational retention periods. Google’s Firebase privacy documentation currently states that Firebase Hosting retains IP data for a few months. That provider-specific period is not a retention promise for email or other records.

07

Security and processing locations

The website uses HTTPS to encrypt information in transit between your browser and the hosting service. We use access controls and service-provider safeguards appropriate to the information handled. No internet transmission, email service, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Privacy laws may differ between locations. Applicable legal requirements still govern processing and any required transfer protections; visiting this website is not a blanket consent to waive those protections.

08

Your choices and privacy requests

You can browse without sending us an email or providing application materials. To ask about information you have sent, request access, correction, or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email info@watersidelabs.com with the subject “Privacy request.”

Your legal rights depend on where you live, the information involved, and which laws apply to us. Where applicable, these may include access, correction, deletion, portability, restrictions or objections to processing, and the ability to appeal a decision or complain to a regulator. We will handle requests under the applicable law and explain relevant limits. This policy does not reduce rights that the law gives you.

We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorized representative’s authority before disclosing or changing personal information. Please do not include identification documents in your initial message. We will not penalize you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

09

Children’s privacy

This studio website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13 through it. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review it and take appropriate action, including deletion where required. Separate products will need their own age-appropriate privacy information and safeguards.

10

Links to other services

A link to another website or an email application takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. We do not control information you provide directly to those services. Review their notices before sharing information. A role offered by another employing entity would need to identify that entity and its applicable applicant privacy notice.

11

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy as our website or information practices change and revise the date shown above. For material changes, we will provide additional notice and obtain consent when required by law. Posting an update does not retroactively authorize a new use of previously collected information where the law requires a separate choice.

12

Contact and accessibility

For privacy questions, requests, or help accessing this policy, contact info@watersidelabs.com. Describe the issue and any assistance you need without including unnecessary sensitive information.
